A Short Tale of Two Road Accidents

1931.

Two road traffic accidents occurred in different places and two people diced with death.

In one, a truck smashed into a car in which its occupant was returning from a wedding.

In the other, a pedestrian got confused crossing the road and stepped out into the path of an oncoming car.

Both people made visits to the hospital for broken bones and other injuries.

One accident happened in Munich.

The other accident occurred in New York City.

One person was Hitler.

The other…Churchill.

But for fate history could have been very different
